How did you start?

Back in January 2007 Jo Pole decided she needed a new venture in life so decided to quit her current job to start her own business.


The result was the birth of 'Dazzlers' & after purchasing some cleaning products, an old faithful Henry, mop, bucket, feather duster & some freshly printed leaflets, Jo went out looking for work.


After 17 years, a marriage, two kids, a lot of hard work...and a little help from her husband along the way, Jo has built Dazzlers into a company that now employs many staff to help cope with the high demand for it's services.

Who runs the business now?

The business is still owner managed & ran by Jo & Steve Pole as they pride themselves on providing a first class quality of service. In addition, all staff are directly employed by the business which helps to ensure the whole team works together to provide the level of service that Dazzlers is known for.


In 2019 Steve officially joined the business and following the trials & tribulations of the pandemic years, they have together managed to rebuild & continue to grow the business.


In 2022 Dazzlers moved into a new office in Quorn & in May 2023 they officially launched their Laundry & Ironing services for both domestic & commercial clients across Leicestershire.


Following further growth of the business, Dazzlers finally moved in May 2024 into their new, larger premises in Barrow upon Soar. With new state of the art laundry & finishing equipment they are now fully operational providing laundry services to many domestic & commercial customers across the Midlands.

We have 3 principles which shape the way we work. Our 3 core values are:

Independent

We care about our reputation & pride ourselves on being big enough to provide the services our Domestic & Commercial customers want, whilst still being involved enough to care.


Being owner managed we have the ability to adapt & bespoke our services to our customer's specific needs, whatever they may be.

Friendly

We want our staff to enjoy their work and our customers to be pleased with our service. Part of that is encouraging open & honest dialogue so that Customers  feel comfortable in letting us know if something isn't quite the way you want it.


As we offer a bespoke service, we don't mind admitting that we don't always get things 100% right first time. We will however, work hard to rectify any issues that may arise & ensure we provide the best possible service going forward.

Professional

We take what we do seriously and aim to offer a professional service at all times. We provide clear instructions to our staff & a standard agreement for our customers ensuring you have clear expectations of the service you are to receive.

  • What are your business hours?

    Our normal office ours are Monday to Friday, 8am - 6pm, however we do sometimes work outside of those hours. If you require cleaning outside of office hours or at weekends, we will provide alternate contact details to ensure you can contact us when needed.

  • Where is your main office?

    Our head office is based in Barrow upon Soar on the sileby road industrial estate inbetween Barrow & Sileby. We are available during office hours to drop-off or collect keys as well as for laundry, ironing & dry-cleaning drop-off or collections.


    We do however offer collection & delivery  within our standard laundry services.

  • Do you need to visit to provide a cleaning quotation?

    Whilst we can provide an idea of our costs over the phone, we always prefer to visit your property or premises in order to provide an accurate quotation & understand the environment we will be working in.


    We pride ourselves on offering a personal service & as such we like to build a personal relationship - something which are existing customers tell is a very important part of our service.

  • Are your services fully insured?

    Yes, all of our cleaning & laundry services are fully insured with both public & employers liability insurance. We also have loss-of keys insurance cover. Insurance details are provided upon quotation to customer via email, providing you the reassurance that we offer a service you can trust.

  • Are your staff uniformed & DBS checked?

    Yes all of our staff are fully uniformed, DBS checked, trained to our high-standards & directly employed by us. We fully understand that any business is only as good as it's staff which is why we have a comprehensive 5-stage recruitment process that all staff have to pass in order to become a Dazzler.


    All of this is designed to reassure customers that we only employ the very best staff that we can rely upon & more importantly, you can trust.

  • Do I need to provide products for cleaning or laundry?

    To put it simply, no. Our aim is to provide a complete service making things simpler for you.


    As part of our standard cleaning services we provide all cleaning products & equipment that are needed to do the job. If you have a particular product or piece of equipment that you would like us to use please contact the office and we will be happy to work to your needs.


    We also provide laundry supplies for all laundry & dry-cleaning that we do but again, if you would like us to use your own products, please contact the office and we will endeavour to accomodate this.


    We do after all pride ourselves in offering bespoke services based on your needs.

  • Do you offer collection & delivery for my laundry?

    Yes we provide collection & delivery for free within 5 miles of our office (LE12 8LP). If outside this radius it is a small charge of £1.50 per collection or delivery (£3 for both).

  • Do you offer discounts?

    We pride oursleves on being open & honest with customers which is why we work to a price list depending on the service(s) required. For this reason & the fact that a lot of our work comes from referrals, we don't offer discounts to customers.


    It is possible to find both cheaper & more expensive services in the marketplace however we would encourage customers to consider what features & service levels you would like when choosing your cleaning or laundry provider.


    We feel we are very reasonably priced within the marketplace & offer great value for money for the professional, comprehensive & reliable services we provide.

  • Can I buy someone a gift card?

    Yes you sure can. Just visit our gift card page by clicking below and you can purchase a gift card online that can be redeemed against any of our services.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

    We accept BACS payments, credit/debit cards, contacless & Direct Debit.


    Regular cleaning customers are usually invoiced monthly and can choose to pay by BACS or Variable Direct Debit. For one-off or new customers we will may require pre-payment by BACS or Credit Card (all major cards/contactless accepted).


    Regular laundry customers may pay upon invoice or by Card/Contactless on the day.
